Bucket Bags. From Left to Right: Brandy, Blu, Cammello

When it comes to Mansur Gavriel, where do we even begin? It’s like the brand came out of nowhere. Then became most-wanted everywhere. And then, everything they sell… pretty much sells out! And I can understand why.

Owners Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel had it right: simple elegance, without spending thousands of dollars. Sometimes handbags cost far too much, bordering in ridiculous. Good design is universal. And price points matter. So having launched the line in 2013, it became the year when bags-that-don’t-scream-overrated-logos were born. Who wouldn’t fawn over this duo’s fantastic, simplistic, and quite endearing bags?

From totes, to bucket bags, and the new backpacks, Mansur Gavriel is becoming a brand to reckon with. With a wide array of colors, large and mini sizes, and customizable interior colors, a healthy slice of Italian calf or vegetable tanned leather, and prices costing from $450-$950: it’s no wonder why people are going crazy getting their hands on these wonderful pieces. And boy oh boy, a boy can definitely carry those bucket bags for days.

Available in an array of colors and custom color interiors, these bucket bags are both adorable and functional. The only hardware lies on the slots on the adjustable cross body sling. Everything else is stitched to perfection. The closure is simply the leather drawstring at the mouth. Each bag comes with a detachable zippered wallet/pouch inside. Lightweight and sexy, roomy but intact – it’s so easy to fall in love with these babies!
